To My Fellow Bookworms. . .

Many people think that a book is just a book with many little words on paper. But when you begin to read a chapter book, the adventure comes to life in your mind as you read every word, like a movie playing in your mind.
Most readers like myself got this feeling when it come to their favorite book series like Harry Potter, Eragon, Vampirates, The Spiderwick Chronicles, The Lords of the Rings, The Magic Tree House, and many more.
But some readers both love and hate it when their favorite books become movies. They love that they get to see their favorite characters coming to life, what their voices will sound like, what the background will be like, special effects, and many other cool stuff. But they also hate it because the movies is not really like the books.
Either the screenplay writer add parts that don't make sence and/or take away a few parts that we hope to see. For example: I really love the movie: Eragon, but there some parts thats not in the book, like in the movie, Eragon's cousin left home to escape the army but in the book, the reason he left home is to make enough money to build a house so he could marry his true love.
Most book-based movies do that a lot. I guess because they think that it will make it better then the book but we know that it SSSSSSSSSOOOOOO not!
I kept wondering how the authors of the books feel when they noticed the differents. Will they be mad or glad?
If I FINALLY became an author and one of my stories is getting ready to become a movie , I will make sure that it will be just like the book no matter what! If they can't do that then I rather let my stories became movies first so everyone will know the story my way.
If someone's favorite book (or series) become a movie and its different then the book, then that person will be so disappointed that it no longer his/her favorite book (series). For example: one of my  little sisters' favorite series is the Spiderwick Chronicles and she want to see the movie that just come out by that time but she was afriad that if she watched it, she will not love that series anymore for our older sister saw that movie with her boyfriend and told her that it got a couple of parts thats not in the book series.
And I know someone that complained that they didn't add a certain part in Lords of the Rings movie until they made an special exdition like DVD that added a few parts that from and from not from the book series.
Theres a couple of books that I want to see turns into movies but I hope when they do, they don't try to change it, or the magic of those books will be destory in your mind forever.
As an fellow Bookworm, I love to read stories that have to do with fantasy, everytime I read one of my favorites, I imanged the story in my head like I'm in an drone-like theather, watching a movie.
Same thing with my stories when I'm working on it.
